      The plants are not only beautifully photographed, but personally commented upon, in addition to being professionally & scientifically reported on. Having recently lost a lot of trees for various reasons, I am finding this book tremendously helpful and an excellent adjunct to the tree books I already have in choosing suitable s: Top 10 Hardy Plants For Winter Interest. The cold months of winter can leave the garden bare and uninviting. Naked branches form dark silhouettes against damp, grey skies. But there are plenty of plants that are at their peak in winter.
